We believe that if you have previous college experience, you should receive credit for it! Granite State College views your prior learning as a foundation on which to build your degree program. We have a liberal transfer policy, depending upon your degree, which allows you to transfer credits from an associate degree program into one of our bachelor's degree programs. It may also be possible to complete a bachelor's degree you previously started elsewhere. Below, you'll find all the information you need to get started with the transfer process:
When applying to a degree program at Granite State College, you must also request official transcripts from all previous colleges you have attended. To request official transcripts from any prior schools/colleges that you attended:
1. Print and complete the Previous College Transfer Request Form
2. Mail the form to each of the prior schools/colleges that you attended
In addition, you should arrange to have official score reports for any testing you have completed to be sent directly to Granite State College.
CCSNH TransfersStudents who have graduated from a Community College System of New Hampshire college can apply to GSC for free! There is no application fee for all CCSNH associate degree graduates, making it even easier to transfer existing credits towards a bachelor's degree. Beginning in Fall 2012, Granite State College will debut a co-location on the campus of Nashua Community College (NCC). These programs compliment the most popular and in-demand associate degree programs from NCC and other community colleges and students will benefit from these practical and relevant options. If you are a current CCSNH student or CCSNH graduate the first step is to visit NH Transfer to find out how you can begin or continue your postsecondary education at a four-year college in the University System of New Hampshire. You can "seamlessly" transfer your credits toward a bachelor's degree at Granite State College or any other University System of New Hampshire (USNH) college or university. Granite State College has many academic program agreements with the CCSNH institutions, as well as pre-approved transfer degree programs and Degree Completion Pathways. Talk with your CCSNH academic advisor or contact a Granite State College Admissions Coach to learn more. |
