(FACES) Foster and Adoptive Care Essentials:
FACES is offered to individuals interested in providing foster/adoptive care and also to relative caregivers. It consists of a minimum of 21 hours of training that promotes a better understanding of the foster care system and working with children and families. This training assists in preparing people to be skilled caregivers and professional team members. Modules are primarily instructed by foster and adoptive parents.

(COT) Caregiver Ongoing Training:
This program provides competency-based education and training to NH licensed foster parents, eligible adoptive parents, non-licensed relative caregivers, residential childcare staff, and DCYF staff.

(RCCT) Residential Counselor Core Training:
This program is offered to residential counselors, in preparation for their work with children and youth in care in any of New Hampshire's residential facilities. RCCT is a 30-hour competency based training series, consisting of five modules, each six hours in length.

(RS) Relatively Speaking:
This program is offered to relative caregivers of children in care. The eligible relative caregiver is or will be taking care of, on a temporary or permanent basis, a child under the age of 18 who is related by blood, marriage, or adoption. The training consists of three, one-week distance learning classes, “About You,” “About the Child,” and “About the Birth Parent.” Each training is three hours in length.
