Granite State College: University System of New Hampshire

Post-Baccalaureate Teacher Certification

PBTC Inquiry

The Post-Baccalaureate Teacher Certification (PBTC) program at Granite State College is designed for students who have completed a bachelor's degree and are seeking New Hampshire Teaching Certification. The PBTC program offers teacher certification with concentrations in the critical shortage area for teachers in the State of NH.

We also offer additional certifications for already certified teachers. Those holding an initial teaching certification can earn additional or advanced certifications in as few as 18-29 credits.

The Educator Toolkit* allows our teacher candidates to leverage cutting-edge technology, communication and electronic resources. E-texts, web sources, educational applications and other productivity applications will be utilized in each class. Additional details will be provided during EDU 700 Introduction to Field Experience and Program Requirements.

*The Educator Toolkit and tablets can be covered by Financial Aid.

Online disclaimer: Students who reside outside New Hampshire and plan to enroll in Granite State College certification programs are responsible for verifying that the program meets requirements for licensure for educator certification in their state. Some states may have additional requirements and different certification areas. A list of state licensing boards is provided for your convenience; state websites and requirements may change at any time.
