Granite State College Presents Free Workshop:
Who are you, where are you headed and how can higher education help?


Granite State College (GSC) will offer a free workshop designed to arm attendees with a better understanding of their skills and strengths, higher education opportunities and job and career opportunities – all to empower attendees to find fulfilling jobs and launch thriving careers.

The free workshop, entitled Who are you, where are you headed and how can higher education help?, will take place in a north country community near you:
 

  • OSSIPEE: Tuesday, February 9 from 12:30 to 2 p.m. at the Ossipee Public Library at 74 Main Street in Center Ossipee.
  • EFFINGHAM: Wednesday, March 9 from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Effingham Public Library, 30 Town House Road in Effingham.
  • BETHLEHEM: Wednesday, March 10 from noon to 1:30  at WREN, 2011 Main Street, Bethlehem.

    Granite State College Presents Free Workshop:
    Who are you, where are you headed and how can higher education help?

    Granite State College (GSC) will offer a free workshop designed to arm attendees with a better understanding of their skills and strengths, higher education opportunities and job and career opportunities – all to empower attendees to find fulfilling jobs and launch thriving careers.

    The free workshop, entitled Who are you, where are you headed and how can higher education help?, will take place in a north country community near you:

    OSSIPEE: Tuesday, February 9 from 12:30 to 2 p.m. at the Ossipee Public Library at 74 Main Street in Center Ossipee.
    EFFINGHAM: Wednesday, March 9 from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Effingham Public Library, 30 Town House Road in Effingham.
    BETHLEHEM: Wednesday, March 10 from noon to 1:30  at WREN, 2011 Main Street, Bethlehem.
    WOLFBORO: Wednesday, March 17 from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Wolfeboro Public Library, 259 South Main St Wolfboro.

    The fun, interactive workshop is for anyone unsure of their future direction and how to get there. Participants will learn how to identify their specific strengths, skills and interests, as well as how to set attainable career goals. Betsy Gemmecke, outreach coordinator for GSC Conway, will lead the workshop.

    “Together we will explore higher education opportunities designed to help folks achieve the skill sets and education necessary to meet their career goals,” said Gemmecke. “We’ll discuss non-traditional paths of learning and set strategies to move forward.”
