Online bachelor’s degrees at Granite State College are among the nation’s best

Granite State College (GSC) has garnered recognition from U.S. News and World Report in their compilation of the “Best Online Bachelor's Programs.”

GSC is number 27 out of the 237 institutions that met the ranking’s criteria and is the only college or university in New Hampshire to achieve this honor.

“72 % of our students work full-time while earning their degrees and they need the flexibility of online classes. This ranking helps affirm our approach to ensuring a quality education for online students and indicates how well we match national best practices,” said Dr. Todd J. Leach, President of Granite State College and Interim Chancellor of the University System of New Hampshire.

U.S. News evaluates several factors to determine this listing including graduation rates, faculty credentials, and the support services from the college that are available remotely.

Granite State College is the largest public provider of online courses in New Hampshire. The programs have consistently grown and today, every bachelor’s program is available online and nearly all students enroll in multiple online classes while earning their degree.

As one of four public institutions within the University System of New Hampshire, GSC services a statewide student population with affordable tuition, 100% online degree programs, four full-service campuses, and six additional academic sites throughout the state.
