Early Childhood Tuition Assistance Program Recruiter
Part-time - non status
This position is responsible for the dissemination of information and recruiting participants for a grant-funded program providing tuition assistance to early childhood child care professionals and degree candidates. Duties include assistance in licensing and credentialing of participants, providing workshops and training, reporting, and evaluation. Position will be funded for two years with a possible two-year extension. Salary not to exceed $5,000 per year.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education plus two years’ experience in an early childhood setting. NH CDB Early Childhood Master Professional Credential required. Excellent interpersonal communication and writing skill strongly recommended. Experience teaching at a college-level is highly desired.
Specific duties:
- Actively recruit eligible child care participants to apply for ECE Tuition Assistance, using appropriate agencies and networks (eg. Child Care Resource and Referral agencies, Head Start, NH Bureau of Licensing)
- Coordinate dissemination of promotional materials.
- Ensure that target participation goals are met.
- Assist participants and faculty in applying for EC CDB Credential.
- Prepare quarterly reports of activities, contacts and credential applications.
- Work with Early Childhood faculty to revise course outcomes to meet professional development content in NH Core Knowledge areas if requested by GSC Academic Affairs.
Hourly rate: $20.00
